You do great work, and your clients love you.

But when someone asks what you do, the answer gets… complicated.

Maybe you find yourself over-explaining.

Maybe your website says one thing, your LinkedIn says another, and what you actually do has evolved beyond both.

Or maybe your clients rave about you but wouldn't know exactly what to say if they wanted to refer someone to you.

That's a positioning problem. And it's costing you clients.

65-70%
of my clients find me through a referral.

That's the business I want for you: one where past clients bring you new clients, and you don't have to post every day to fill your calendar.

It starts with positioning, which is what you're known for. When it's clear, your clients can repeat it. Your bio stops getting rewritten every three months. Networking intros stop making you sweat. And the right people recognize themselves the second they hear what you do.

Inside The Positioning Powerplay, we'll work together to clarify:

Who you're for

The people you're best positioned to serve

What problem you solve

What they're actually coming to you for

The transformation you create

What changes because of your work

What makes your approach different

Why someone should choose you

How to talk about it

In language that sounds like you and makes sense to the people you want to reach

We'll pressure-test your current positioning, identify where it's muddy or overly complicated, and distill it into language people can actually understand, remember, and repeat.

You'll walk away with

Words you can actually use

01

A clear positioning statement

One that captures who you help, what you help them do, and the value you create.

02

A simple "what I do" explanation

You can use it when someone asks about your business.

03

A referral-ready description

You can give it to clients, colleagues, and connectors so they know exactly who to send your way.

And most importantly, clarity about what you want to be known for—so your website, content, networking, referrals, and sales conversations can all reinforce the same message.

Here's How It Works

One week before

The pre-work

About 45 minutes of guided questions lands in your inbox. It includes one small, slightly scary assignment: ask a favorite client how she'd describe what you do. This is how you uncover gold!

90 minutes on Zoom

The live session

I'll walk you through how I build positioning with my 1:1 clients, and then we get to work. You'll draft your statement in the room, and I'll give live feedback on as many as time allows.

Within 7 days

Written feedback

Send me your final versions and I'll send back written notes on each one. Every participant gets this, whether I got to you live or not.

Can't make it live? You'll get the replay and the written feedback.

Bonus for the first 24 hours

Your live feedback spot, guaranteed

Live feedback spots in the session are limited. Everyone gets my written notes afterward, but there's nothing like working through your statement out loud, in the room, and hearing it click.

Grab your seat by end of day, Thursday, October 15 and you're on my list for the live hot seat. We'll work on your positioning together while everyone else listens and learns from it (which, honestly, is half the magic of a group).

This is for you if...

You know you're good at what you do

  • You've started your business and worked with clients, but "So, what do you do?" still makes you ramble.
  • Your clients love your work and can't quite explain it to their friends.
  • You've rewritten your bio more times than you'd like to admit.
  • You do a lot of things well, which makes choosing the words harder.
  • You want more referrals and fewer hours spent chasing visibility.

Hi, I'm Rachel!

I'm a business strategist and mentor, and for the last ten years I've helped women build businesses that fit their real lives. Positioning is where so much of that work starts. When you're clear on what you want to be known for, everything else gets easier to decide: what you offer, what you charge, and where you show up.

I've worked with 135+ clients and helped launch 45+ new businesses. Most of them found me because someone who loved my work could explain it.

That's what I want for you.

Good to know

What if I can't make it live?

You'll get the replay and the same written feedback as everyone in the room. Do the pre-work, watch the session, send me your versions, and you'll leave with everything the live group gets.

Do I need to have my business figured out first?

No. You do need to have worked with at least a few clients, because that's where the best material comes from.

I offer more than one thing. Can I still do this?

Yes, and you'll have company. Figuring out what you lead with is part of the work.

How is this different from working with you 1:1?

The Powerplay focuses on one thing: what you're known for and how you say it. My 1:1 mentorship covers your whole business over three months or more. Plenty of women start here.

So here's my question for you...

If a favorite client tried to describe what you do tomorrow, what would she say?

If you're not sure, come build it with me.
